These terms govern your use of get TLDR's AI-powered summarization services. Please read them carefully.
By accessing and using get TLDR ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
get TLDR provides AI-powered summarization services for text content, documents, and YouTube videos. Our services include:
- Text summarization and analysis
- YouTube video transcription and summarization
- Custom prompt creation and management
- Multi-language support
- API access for enterprise users
get TLDR is NOT a medical service and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnoses, or interpretations of clinical results.
While our Service can summarize various types of documents and content, including health-related materials, you must understand and agree to the following:
- No Medical Advice: Any summaries or analysis of health documents, lab reports, medical records, or clinical information are provided for informational purposes only and should never be interpreted as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations
- Not a Substitute for Professional Care: Our Service cannot and does not replace consultation with qualified healthcare professionals. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions regarding a medical condition
- No Clinical Interpretation: We do not interpret lab results, diagnostic tests, imaging reports, or any other clinical data. If you need help understanding medical information, please consult a licensed clinician
- Content Detection and Safeguards: When health-related content is detected, clear notices will appear indicating that the content is informational only and not medical advice. Additional flags may limit or route sensitive health information appropriately
- User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for how you use any summaries or information generated from health-related content. Never make medical decisions based solely on AI-generated summaries
- Emergency Situations: In case of a medical emergency, immediately call emergency services or visit the nearest emergency room. Do not rely on our Service for urgent medical matters
By uploading health-related documents or medical information to our Service, you acknowledge that you understand these limitations and agree to seek professional medical guidance for any health-related questions or decisions.
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
- Not share your account with others
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited purposes, including but not limited to:
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringing on intellectual property rights
- Creating harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
- Attempting to reverse engineer or copy our AI models
- Using the service for spam or automated abuse
- Circumventing usage limits or security measures
- Sharing copyrighted content without permission
- Using the Service as a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice
Regarding content submitted to our Service:
- Your Content: You retain ownership of content you submit
- License Grant: You grant us a license to process and analyze your content
- Generated Summaries: You own the rights to summaries generated from your content
- AI Training: We may use anonymized data to improve our AI models
- Public Content: Content marked as public may be shared in our community gallery
For paid subscriptions:
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
- You can cancel your subscription at any time
- No refunds for partial billing periods
- Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance
- Failed payments may result in service suspension
We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service:
- Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features
- Usage limits apply based on your subscription tier
- AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies
- You are responsible for verifying critical information
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:
- Accuracy or reliability of AI-generated summaries
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement of third-party rights
- Security or uninterrupted availability
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless get TLDR, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service will cease immediately
- We may delete your account and associated data
- Outstanding payments remain due
- Sections regarding liability and indemnification survive
These terms are governed by the laws of UK & Wales. Any disputes will be resolved through:
- Binding arbitration in London
- Arbitration conducted in English
- Each party bears their own costs
- Class action waivers apply
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
