  1. Log in to your get TLDR account
  2. Navigate to Settings → API Keys
  3. Click "Generate New API Key"
  4. Copy your API key (starts with tl_)
  5. Store it securely - you won't be able to see it again!

Zapier Integration

Overview

Zapier allows you to create automated workflows (called "Zaps") that connect get TLDR with thousands of other apps. You can automatically summarize content from emails, Slack messages, RSS feeds, and much more.

Popular Use Cases:

  • Summarize new blog posts from RSS feeds and post to Slack
  • Auto-summarize long emails and save to Google Docs
  • Summarize YouTube videos and add to Notion database
  • Process articles from Pocket and send summaries to email
Step-by-Step Setup

Why Choose n8n:

  • Self-hosted option for complete data privacy
  • Advanced workflow features with conditional logic
  • Built-in error handling and retry mechanisms
  • Visual workflow editor for complex automations
